CASTLE CONNECTIONS PROGRAM

Castle Connections is a year-long college prep program open to a select group of students, who in their applications demonstrate a strong commitment to academic success, as well as Wartburg College. A team of peer mentors, academic support staff, and faculty are all dedicated to your success in college. Those selected for the program will participate in pre-orientation activities, a Fall Term IS 101 course (Exploring Careers and Vocation), and the year-long igKnight peer mentoring program.

Program Goals

  • Assist students with pursuing their passions and finding their purpose
  • Identify resources to capitalize on student strengths and support for weaknesses
  • Coach students in practicing academic success habits
  • Assist students in the development of an individual learning plan
  • Assist students in developing the skills and attitudes necessary to serve as leaders
  • Assist students in learning how to manage their social climate

Eligibility
To qualify for the program, you must be admitted to Wartburg College, submit an enrollment deposit, be identified by Admissions as a good fit for the program, and be registered for Fall Term classes.

Program Costs
There are no additional costs for the program beyond normal tuition and fees for Fall Term. Room and board for the pre-orientation activities are covered.
