Bachman Fine Arts Center
the Bachman Fine Arts Center houses the department of music and facilities for art and graphic design.

Luther Hall
Built in 1925, Luther Hall houses classrooms and administrative offices including the Registrar, Business Office, and more.

McElroy Center
The McElroy Center houses a student-run television studio and radio station with digital broadcasting equipment and production suites.

Old Main
Old Main, the first building constructed on the Wartburg campus in 1880, is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and houses the departments of education and social work.

Rada-Aleff Classroom Technology Center
Rada-Aleff Classroom Technology Center (CTC) features resources for campus technical support.

Science Center
The Science Center is a 110,000 square foot center for inquiry-based learning. The building is designed for hands-on learning and close interaction among students and faculty.

Vogel Library
The library has a collection of more than 340,000 items including print and nonprint materials, electronic books, journals, newspapers, electronic publications, and a wide array of online databases.

Whitehouse Business Center
Whitehouse Business Center (WBC) houses the department of business administration, economics, and accounting and the Admissions Office, located on the second floor.
Dining Centers

Den-Rittersaal
Located on the first floor of the Saemann Student Center, the Den-Rittersaal provides guests with upscale fast food. Made-to-order items include quesadillas, burgers, tenderloins, and more.

Konditorei
Conveniently located on the lower level of the Vogel Library, the Konditorei offers a cozy atmosphere that will remind you of the charm of your local coffeehouse.

Mensa
The Mensa serves as the main dining hall for campus residents, staff, faculty, and guests. The Mensa offers 10 food courts.

Zesty Orange
The Zesty Orange is located on the second floor of The W overlooking the pool and fitness center.
Student Services & Amenities

Campus Skywalks
While most other college students in the Midwest have long walks to class in the cold winters, Wartburg College students enjoy heated skywalks between nearly all academic buildings.

Fitness Area
The fitness area includes free weights/stacked weights and cardio machines, including treadmills, elliptical machines, and stationary conventional and recumbent bikes for students and the community.

Schuldt Natatorium
The Schuldt Natatorium includes a six-lane 25-yard pool with three lanes dedicated to lap swimming, a zero-depth entry area, water slide, vortex pool, 11-person hot tub, steam room, sauna, and wet classroom.

Student Life
The Student Life Office assists students as they learn more about themselves and others. Services include the Career Connections Center, Residential Life, and the Global Engagement Team.

McCaskey Lyceum
McCaskey Lyceum provides space for theatre productions and other programs.

Neumann Auditorium
Neumann Auditorium is the largest auditorium on campus and can hold up to 1,200 people.

Orchestra Hall
Orchestra Hall is a beautiful space for recitals and other small performances. The facility includes a recording studio.

The Wartburg Chapel
The Wartburg Chapel serves as a center for Spiritual Life and Campus Ministry as well as concerts, weddings, and other events.

Afton & Waverly Manors
Afton and Waverly Manors each consist of four separate two-story houses where 24 people live on different floors.

Founders Hall
Founders Hall has the character and charm of an older building and the convenience of a newer one.The building includes one-, two-, three-, and four-person rooms.

Grossmann & Löhe Hall
Grossmann Hall opened in the fall of 1995 and Löhe Hall in 2004. Floors have single rooms as well as four-, six-, or eight-person suites.

Knights Village
Knights Village units are designed for four or six-person groups. It consists of individual two-story townhouses named after cities where Wartburg has been located at various times in its history.

McCoy Living & Learning Center and Clinton Hall
Clinton Hall, which opened in 1957, was renovated in 2016 and is now part of the McCoy Living & Learning Center . This air-conditioned residence hall is primarily for first year students.

The Residence (North and South Halls)
The Residence provides a living/learning atmosphere for groups of eight. Groups are selected on the basis of a service project partnered with an organization in the Cedar Valley.

Ubuntu Center
The Ubuntu Center consists of three structurally connected buildings (Slife, Vollmer, and Hebron Halls). This air-conditioned residence hall is primarily for first year students.

Harms Stadium at Hertel Field
Harms Stadium at Hertel Field is the home of Wartburg Baseball and features new stadium seating and a FieldTurf infield.

Knief Pavilion
The Knief Pavilion serves baseball, soccer and lacrosse fans with a concession stand, centrally located restrooms and an emergency shelter.

Lynes Field
Lynes Field is the home of Wartburg Softball and features new stadium seating.

Max Cross Country Course
Max Cross Country Course is a 130-acre course built on rolling hills adjacent to campus. The site has hosted a NCAA Division III Cross Country Championship as well as numerous NCAA Regionals.

Meirink Family Tennis Facility
The Meirink Family Tennis Facility provides outdoor courts for the men’s and women’s tennis teams. The courts were resurfaced in 2020.

Ohle Wartburg-Waverly Sports & Wellness Center
The 200,000-square-foot Wartburg-Waverly Sports & Wellness Center, also known as “The W,” offers expansive facilities for college health and wellness programs and intercollegiate athletics.

Salzwedel Field
The Salzwedel Field features new stadium seating and lighting. The venue has hosted numerous NCAA tournament games.

Walston-Hoover Stadium
Walston-Hoover Stadium hosted a NCAA Division III outdoor track and field championships and two NCAA Division III football playoff games and features a FieldTurf football playing surface and an eight-lane, all-weather track.
