The fine arts are important aspects of the Wartburg educational experience. Wartburg’s many music ensembles perform throughout the year on campus and on tours regionally, nationally, and internationally. Wartburg ensembles have premiered works by contemporary composers including Morten Lauridsen, Ola Gjeilo, Ben Allaway, Stacey V. Gibbs, Stanford Scriven, and Connor Koppin ’13. All concerts are open to the public and most charge no admission. Works of art adorn various galleries and corridors of buildings throughout campus, many by important and influential artists dating back decades to hundreds of years.
