Three Wartburg College students were selected to display their graphic design work at the Art Directors Association of Iowa’s 66th annual Design Exhibition on April 19.
Erin Buchheit Donati, Milagros Toribio Porras and Sophia Broers were encouraged to submit their work by Marwa Elkashif, Wartburg assistant professor of art.
“She was very encouraging and helpful through the submission process. I’m excited to attend the event, see everyone else’s work and make new connections,” said Donati, a senior graphic design major.
Porras is a senior political science and graphic design major, and Broers is a junior art and graphic design major.
The Art Directors Association of Iowa connects local professionals and students through design. The annual exhibition attracts hundreds of entries and attendees and is an opportunity for Iowans to establish themselves as industry professionals, designers and artists.
