Wartburg College will welcome flutist Brielle Frost to campus on March 12, for a master class and guest recital.

The master class begins at 3 p.m. in the Sandra Rada Orchestra Hall and is open to the public. Three Wartburg students, Claire Hulscher, Karly Daniels-Carlson and Mariah Schmitt, will work with Frost on solo repertoire.

The recital, which is also free and open to the public, begins at 7:30 p.m. in Sandra Rada Orchestra Hall. Camille Balleza, a collaborative pianist, will accompany Frost.

Frost is an assistant professor of flute at Lamar University. She is also an active musician who travels the U.S. and surrounding countries performing and giving master classes. Frost earned a Bachelor of Music from the University of Northern Iowa, a Master of Music and Artist Certificate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Doctor of Arts from the University of Northern Colorado.
