Wartburg College will honor 12 longtime faculty and staff members who have recently retired or are retiring during a ceremony Friday, May 22.

The retirees (start date in parenthesis) are:

• Marnie Hubbard, technical services associate, Vogel Library (1979)
• Jan Hyde, manager and student employment coordinator, Dining Services (1984)
• Elaine Johnson, cleaning staff, Maintenance (1990)
• Betty Matthias, cook, Dining Services (2004)
• Claude McDonald, plumber, Maintenance (2003)
• Peggy Pruisner, professor of education (1992)
