The Wartburg Chamber Orchestra will perform Friday, March 27, at 7:30 p.m., in Wartburg College’s chapel. The group’s annual spring concert is free and open to the public.

Daniel Kaplunas will conduct a five-selection program, which includes works by Henry Purcell and Gustav Holst. Soloists include Jennifer Larson, professor of voice, and Wartburg students Megan Lang and Madeline Palmer-Chase.

The chamber orchestra became independent of the Wartburg Community Symphony in 2011. It comprises Wartburg students and members of the Waverly community. It performs a wide variety of orchestral music, often featuring student soloists, composers and conductors.
