33 to receive diplomas at Wartburg Dec. 14

Wartburg College will bestow diplomas on 33 graduates during midyear Baccalaureate and Commencement Sunday, Dec. 14.
The ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. in Wartburg Chapel. The Rev. Brian Beckstrom, campus pastor, will give the message, “Hope is Better Than Happiness.”
The Wartburg Chamber Orchestra will perform under the direction of Daniel Kaplunas, assistant professor of music, and students Jamie Harrings, a senior from St. Anthony, and Andrew Tubbs, a junior from Des Moines.
