Wartburg College recently has filled six staff positions.


Renee Voves is the new director of Alumni/Parent Relations and Annual Giving. Voves, a 2004 graduate, had been its associate director. She is from Urbandale. 



Abbie Smith, a 2010 graduate who has been in charge of event planning in the office, has been named Alumni and Parent Relations assistant director.  She is from Manchester.


Lia Kampman, a 2008 graduate, is the new campaign director in the Advancement Office. She had been Loras College’s director of stewardship. Kampman, who is from Clarksville, worked in Advancement as a student.



Emily Christensen has been named senior editor-writer in Marketing and Communication. She formerly was a staff writer for the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier and is a graduate of Iowa State University.



Lindsey Rhodes has been named an admissions counselor in the Admissions Office. She earned her master’s and bachelor’s degrees at the University of Northern Iowa, where she has been an academic mentor.



Torrence James Warren is the new Pathways associate for vocation and mentoring. He earned his master’s and bachelor’s degree at the University of Northern Iowa, where he has been assistant residence life coordinator.
