Student Body President Hollis Hanson-Pollock will represent Wartburg College’s Class of 2013 as Commencement speaker Sunday, May 26.

“I am honored that President Colson asked me to speak at Commencement,” said Hanson-Pollock, “I’ve developed such great relationships over the past four years, and I’m proud that I get to speak on behalf of such a great class.”

Hanson-Pollock, who is from Mingo, earned a 4.0 grade point average as an accounting major with minors in business administration and Spanish. She was named the outstanding senior in accounting by the department of business administration and economics and is a Dean’s Honor Cord recipient with one of the top 40 cumulative GPAs among seniors.

She has been active in student senate, ambassadors, orientation staff, Spanish Club and service trips.

After graduation, Hanson-Pollock will work as a staff auditor for Crowe Horwath, an accounting firm in Oak Brook, Ill.
