Nineteen Wartburg College students were recognized for their induction into the Kappa Mu Epsilon honor society during the Excellence in Teaching and Scholarship Convocation April 14.
Kappa Mu Epsilon furthers interest in mathematics. Students must be in the upper 35 percent of their class and have completed at least three mathematics courses, including at least one term of calculus, and attained a GPA of B or better in all mathematics courses.
Wartburg College, which has an enrollment of 1,747 students from 29 states and 53 countries, is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and is internationally recognized for community engagement.
