Fourteen Wartburg College students were recognized for their induction into the Lambda Pi Eta honor society during the Excellence in Teaching and Scholarship Convocation April 11.

Lambda Pi Eta recognizes students in communication arts with a 3.0 cumulative GPA and a 3.5 GPA in the major. They must write an application letter describing their contribution to communication arts. Lambda Pi Eta is dedicated to philanthropic work as well as scholarship. 

Wartburg College, which has an enrollment of 1,747 students from 29 states and 53 countries, is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and is internationally recognized for community engagement.
