Dr. Roy Carroll, Loras College professor of music and organist, and his wife, Nancy, a flutist, will be guest artists at Wartburg College’s “Bach’s Lunch” Friday, March 15.

The Carrolls’ performance at 12:30 p.m. in the Wartburg Chapel will be preceded by a noon lunch and explanation of the program in Chapel Commons.

Their program will include Bach’s “Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben,” two selections from “Well Tempered Clavier,” “Erbarm dich mein, O Herre Gott” and “O Lamm Gottes, unschuldig.”

Roy also serves as cantor and instructor in church music at Wartburg Theological Seminary, while Nancy is its archivist. The Carrolls’ collaborative musical endeavors have included a performance on Wisconsin Public Radio’s “Bach Around the Clock” and as featured recitalists at the Galena Fine Arts Festival.

They are graduates of  Muskingum University and the University of Iowa, where Roy completed his doctoral studies in organ, church music and music history and Nancy earned her degree in Master of Library Science and Information Technology.
