More than 500 high school students are expected to visit Wartburg College during Iowa Private College Week, Aug. 6-10.

Iowa Private College Week enables prospective students to learn about academic programs, student life and financial aid at each of the 28 Iowa private colleges. Wartburg annually ranks first or second in student visits during the event. More than a third of those high school visitors eventually enroll at the college.

Tours and information will be offered daily at 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at each campus. In addition, students visiting Wartburg can have their photo featured on a personalized cover of the college’s viewbook magazine, which provides prospective students with information about the school and financial aid.

After a visit to each private college, students will receive a stamp on an IPCW “passport.” After three or more stamps, the student will be eligible for one of two $500 bookstore vouchers awarded at the college where they enroll.

Students can register at www.wartburg.edu/admissions/ipcw.html or by calling 800 772-2085.
