19 Wartburg students interning in Denver

Wartburg College students are getting hands-on experience in their majors through summer internships in Denver, Colo.
Nineteen students are enrolled in the eight-week Wartburg West summer internship program. They are living in college-owned apartments and work at a variety of Denver offices and organizations.
The Revs. Nelson and Bonita Bock, co-directors of the Wartburg West program, arrange and supervise the internships.
Wartburg West also offers a four-month program that includes academic coursework and a preprofessional internship. Students who enroll in this program spend Fall Term or Winter Term in Denver.
Wartburg College is a selective liberal arts college of the Lutheran church (ELCA), nationally recognized for community engagement. It enrolls 1,805 students from 29 U.S. states and 49 countries.
