  • Administrative Staff – at least ¾ time (.75 FTE)
  • Support Staff – at least 1,486 hours annually
  • Dependent children of faculty and staff
  • Dependents up to age 24 are limited to the equivalent of 8 semesters or 4 full years

Family members eligible for Tuition Exchange & ELCA Scholarships are not guaranteed an award. Scholarships are not fringe benefits; they are competitive awards. Note: In addition to meeting the admissions requirements of the receiving institution, some members have additional requirements such as higher academic standards or limit awards to just a few new students each year.

Non-covered expenses & processes vary. For more information about eligible tuition exchange & ELCA institutions visit: www.tuitionexchange.org and www.elca.org.

Process:

  • Employee must submit an application to Wartburg Human Resources for approval.
  • If approved, Tuition Exchange students must then file an application at https://telo.tuitionexchange.org/apply.cfm.
  • If approved, ELCA application(s) will be submitted by Wartburg to the student’s desired receiving institution.
  • Student must apply and be accepted by the receiving school.
