Any student is welcome to use the shuttle; seats must be booked at least 7 days before shuttle travel date. You must purchase a seat to ride; do NOT just show up for the shuttle without registering; you will not have a seat. For students flying into an airport before boarding the shuttle, you may want to consider arriving a day or several hours earlier in case of flight delay. The shuttle will not be able to wait for passengers on flights delayed more than an hour. See the disclaimers on the registration page for more information.

Wartburg College students come from every corner of the United States and the world to study here, and traveling a long distance can be challenging. Wartburg now provides a shuttle service to transport students to nearby airports and bus stations in metro areas before and after breaks. This will help students catch flights and buses and reduce students’ need to have a vehicle on campus. At Wartburg, we are serious about sustainability in addition to serving students. Providing this shuttle service will help our campus reduce the use of fossil fuels and pollution in transportation. Our goals are to serve students by helping them save money in transportation costs and to reduce frustration for families who make long-distance travel arrangements.

The free Bicycle Check-Out Program is available through Vogel Library and open to Wartburg students, faculty, and staff. Bicycles can be checked out for 4 hours at a time during regular library hours, with student use prioritized. Bikes are due back 15 minutes before the library’s closing time; helmets and locks are provided. It’s a great way to explore Waverly’s trails, ride downtown for shopping, and be active.

Orange bikes can be checked out at Vogel Library.
