SHUTTLE SERVICE & BICYCLE CHECK-OUT

SHUTTLE RIDES

Wartburg offers shuttle rides to regional airports and bus stations at the beginning and end of longer academic breaks during the school year. The list below shows where shuttles will travel for each break. Each seat is one-way (purchase both the “departure” and “arrival” seats for a round trip). Email shuttle@wartburg.edu with any questions about the Wartburg shuttle program, visit the Student Life Office, or call Student Life at 319-352-8260.

Before you register, view the dates, times, and locations for each shuttle using the yellow button below. Costs for each shuttle is published on the registration form.

Please choose your shuttle and other travel tickets carefully so that you will get to your airport or bus station in plenty of time for security check-in and boarding. You must be on time for the shuttle!

For students flying into an airport before boarding the shuttle, you may want to consider arriving a day or several hours earlier in case of flight delay. The shuttle will not be able to wait for passengers on flights delayed more than an hour. See the disclaimers on the registration page for more information.

Shuttle seats can be reserved anytime, but registration for each shuttle closes 7 days before the date of shuttle travel.

The registration form below is not able to process international credit cards. If you have only a non-U.S. credit card, please contact Wendy Mohlis in Student Life to arrange a different form of payment before filling out the registration form.

You may pay for one shuttle now, and you can come back and pay for another shuttle later in the year if you wish. You must purchase a seat to ride. Do NOT show up for the shuttle without registering or you will not have a seat.

BICYCLE CHECK-OUT PROGRAM

The free Bicycle Check-Out Program is available through Vogel Library and open to Wartburg students, faculty, and staff. Bicycles can be checked out for 4 hours at a time during regular library hours, with student use prioritized. Bikes are due back 15 minutes before the library’s closing time; helmets and locks are provided. It’s a great way to explore Waverly’s trails, ride downtown for shopping, and be active.

Orange bikes can be checked out at Vogel Library.
