She transferred and is still graduating early

WHERE DID YOU TRANSFER TO WARTBURG FROM: Drake University

WHY DID YOU TRANSFER: I transferred from Drake to be closer to my family and friends. I loved the small class sizes of a private college and the one-on-one opportunities you can get from that as a student, so I knew that I would fit right in at Wartburg.

HOW DID WARTBURG HELP YOU IN THE TRANSFER PROCESS: Wartburg made the transition super easy! Transferring all my class credits kept me at a good standing and did not put me behind or make me feel too overwhelmed by the process. My advisers met with me before school started to make sure that my credits transferred seamlessly. 

WHAT HAS YOUR EXPERIENCE BEEN LIKE SINCE TRANSFERRING TO WARTBURG:  My experience at Wartburg has made me feel confident in my education and prepared me for a future in business. They offered the chance to take summer classes and additional classes during the semester so that I was able to fast track my bachelor’s degree to only three years total, two being here at Wartburg! Having the support to graduate early is one of the biggest things I valued. 

WHY ARE YOU HAPPY YOU MADE THE SWITCH TO WARTBURG: I am happy I switched to Wartburg because not only did I get to move back to my hometown surrounded by friends and family, but I got to have an education at my own pace and level. The professors and advisers are always so willing to help you succeed. 

WHAT EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE SO FAR: My favorite time of year is fall at Wartburg. We get to enjoy Outfly, meet alumni, and hear from them during homecoming week, and take a break during Fall Break before the last stretch of classes!
