BACH'S LUNCH ORGAN SERIES

Bach’s Lunch is a lecture-recital series featuring organ music of history’s greatest composers. These free lectures begin at noon in the WartburgChapel Commons with recitals following in the Wartburg Chapel sanctuary. Participants are invited to bring their lunch or preorder a box lunch to eat at the lecture.

Wartburg College is named after the Wartburg Castle, which sits atop the hillsides of Eisenach, Germany, birthplace of J.S. Bach.

  • Oct. 14: Trevor Carolan ’11, Dallas, Texas
  • Nov. 11: Dr. Kris Rizzotto, Lake of the Isles Lutheran Church, Minneapolis
  • Feb. 10: Dr. Karen Black, Wartburg College
  • March 10: Hudson Lourenço, Bethlehem Lutheran, Cedar Falls and First Congregational, Waterloo
  • April 14: Wartburg organ students
