Fifteen Wartburg College students were recognized for their induction into the Phi Alpha Theta honor society during the Excellence in Teaching and Scholarship Convocation April 11.

Phi Alpha Theta recognizes students in history with a 3.0 cumulative GPA and a 3.1 GPA in history. 

Wartburg College, which has an enrollment of 1,747 students from 29 states and 53 countries, is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and is internationally recognized for community engagement.

Vinton: Megan Jorgensen, junior, daughter of Patrick and Nancy Jorgensen

Waverly: Katelin Ryan, senior, daughter of Don and Robyn Ryan
