For Non-urgent Matters
Please use the TOPdesk Self-Service Portal. This tool includes a library of self-help materials and frequently asked questions, along with a ticketing system that enables users to submit requests for assistance. Simply select the category and IT service that best matches your needs and complete the form that is specific to the service you are requesting. Using the service-specific forms, we are able to better understand your needs and service you quicker, so please be as detailed as possible when completing the form.

For users unable to sign in or authenticate, please use our public form to submit a ticket.

Phone Service for Urgent Matters
Assistance for password resets, account unlocks, classroom technology for in-session classrooms, and compromised account assistance is available by calling +1 (319) 352-8767. Urgent matters are defined as account issues or as affecting an entire business process or large group of people with no workaround, please make that known when calling or emailing. This is not to say a resolution will come immediately for all types of matters, as some requests may require more time, but expect our team to respond to urgent requests within a day. Account issues will be handled on the phone call in most instances. Please note that the ITS Help Desk is closed on major holidays.

Data Governance Group Requests

These request forms will be routed to the Data Governance Group (non-ITS) for approval before being submitted to ITS Team to fulfill request. A ticket will not be generated for ITS unless is approved by Data Governance Team.

Bringing a Computer/Personal Device to Campus?
Wartburg College offers networking services to the entire campus. All students living in college residence halls are able to connect multiple devices to the Internet in their room.

What you need to bring
PCs and Apple computers/devices work well in the residence halls. For the best performance on the network computers should have been purchased in the last four years. All you need to bring to campus is your computer with the software you want to run and an Ethernet cable to connect. These cables can be purchased at various lengths at most office/computer supply stores.

How to Connect to the Network
As soon as you plug your computer into a network socket in your room and open a web browser, you will be guided to download and install the Registration Pack that will provide step-by-step instruction and required software to register your computer with the Wartburg network.

Free Personal Storage
Each student at Wartburg has access to free network storage that can be accessed anywhere on and off campus. Students can map the personal storage drive to an Apple or PC computer.

Connecting from Campus Labs: You are automatically connected once you log into the computer using your campus login account. Personal storage  is located under ‘My Computer.’ Whenever you log on, you must remember to log off once you are finished or the next person using the computer will have access to your files!

Gaming Devices
All gaming devices that require Internet access must be registered.

Copyright Infringement Policy
It is the policy of Wartburg College to promptly process and investigate notices of alleged copyright infringement, and take appropriate actions under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
