Wartburg College student media won 13 awards at the Iowa Broadcast News Association’s annual conference in April.

KWAR, the college’s radio station, received second in the Overall Excellence category, and the Knight Vision staff earned a third-place finish in Political Coverage for their election special. Sophomore Landon Jepson was the recipient of the $1,000 Grant Price Scholarship, recognizing first or second year students with outstanding promise in the field.

Jepson also received first place in Sports Coverage and Sportscast for KWAR and second place in Sportscast for Knight Vision.
