Terasawa named adviser for Society for Buddhist-Christian Studies

The organization supports activities related to the comparative study of, and the practical interaction between, Buddhism and Christianity, whether by groups of individuals.
Terasawa recently spent his sabbatical in Seoul as a visiting scholar and in Hong Kong as a visiting professor researching and creating interreligious cooperation among Korean Buddhists, Christians, university professors and students with those in Japan and the U.S. He intends to publish a book about interreligious/transnational solidarity of religions as resistance to ultranationalist populism in East Asia and the Pacific Rim.
