More than 40 vendors offering an array of wellness information and products will be at the Wartburg-Waverly Sports & Wellness Center Saturday, April 16, 9-11 a.m.

The ninth annual Community Health and Wellness Fair is sponsored by The W, Hy-Vee and Waverly Health Center.

Free health screenings, samples of healthy foods and a variety of health-related information will be available in The W Hall of Champions. Several of this year’s vendors are new to the fair.

A Hy-Vee KidsFit Trainer will offer free kid and family workouts every half hour, while The W fitness staff will lead a yoga demo at 10 a.m. and cardio dance class demonstration at 10:30 a.m.

“We are excited to welcome Hy-Vee’s KidsFit Trainer to the fair. The goal is to show kids and their families how to make fitness fun and a part of their daily routine,” said Sheila Kittleson, The W director. “It’s a perfect fit for our family-friendly fair.”

Prizes, including Waverly-area business gift cards and two May-August memberships to The W, will be given away.
