Two students and a Wartburg College professor will be the featured artists at Wartburg’s “Bach’s Lunch” organ concert series Friday, April 10.
The 12:30 p.m. performance in Wartburg Chapel will be preceded by an explanation of the program in Chapel Commons beginning at noon.
Blaine Woodson, a junior music major from Ossian, will perform Bach’s “Wachet auf, ruf uns die Stimme” and “Ich ruf zu dir, Herr Jesu Christ.” Kaitlynn Eaton, a senior music major from Davenport, will perform Bach’s “Nun komm, der Heiden Heiland” and “Trio Sonata III.”
Karen Black, professor of music and Rudi Inselmann Endowed Professor in Organ, will perform several Easter chorales from Bach’s “Orgelbüchlein.”
“Bach’s Lunch” attendees are invited to bring a lunch.
