Eleven Wartburg College students have been inducted into Sigma Delta Pi, the national Hispanic honor society.
The students were recognized April 11 during the Excellence in Teaching and Scholarship Convocation.
Eligibility requires include:
- Three years of college Spanish.
- A grade point average of at least 3.0
- A grade of B or better in at least three semester hours of a third-year course in Hispanic literature or Hispanic culture and civilization.
- Ranking in the upper 35 percent of their class.
Wartburg College, which has an enrollment of 1,747, is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and is internationally recognized for community engagement.
