Wartburg College and University of Northern Iowa professors will perform during a chamber music concert at Wartburg College Sunday, Feb. 17.

The Castle Chamber Series: Music in the Afternoon will feature Wartburg clarinetist Eric Wachmann, UNI pianist Sean Botkin and cellist Suzanne Bullard in the Castle Room at 2 p.m.

Their selections will include Carl Maria von Weber’s “Grand Duo Concertante for clarinet and piano,” Ludwig Beethoven’s “Trio for clarinet, cello and piano Op. 11, ” and Frederic Chopin’s “B minor sonata, Op. 58.”

Tickets are $5 at the door. Students with valid ID are free.

The Castle Chamber series is designed to bring together some of the finest musicians in the Cedar Valley in intimate concerts reminiscent of the 19th century, when friends listened and discussed the music with performers.

The fourth and final concert in the series will be March 10 with Trio 826, a string trio led by UNI professor and Waterloo-Cedar Falls Symphony violist Julia Bullard.
