Wartburg College students will present the premiere of their short feature, “David’s List,” Tuesday, May 22, at the Waverly Palace Theatre.
“David’s List” is about a college professor’s challenge to his students to make a “bucket list” of extraordinary things to do before graduation. When a classmate dies, they decide to fulfill his bucket list in his memory.
The movie was written and produced by students in Professor Travis Bockenstedt’s communication arts course during the four-week May Term that concludes the college’s academic year.
The performers are Wartburg students, faculty and staff.
The movie, described by Bockenstedt as a “dramedy,” will be shown at 5:30 p.m. at the theater, 90 E. Bremer Ave., in Waverly.
