Wartburg College is centrally located between most of the major metropolitan areas of the Midwest in Waverly, Iowa, a community of 10,000 residents within the Cedar Valley metro area of about 150,000 people.

Located on “The Avenue of the Saints” (Highway 27/218) that connects Minneapolis/St. Paul to St. Louis, Waverly is easily accessible.

Bremer Avenue (Highway 3) is under construction from 2017-2019.
During May, construction on the railroad tracks near the college will force the closure of Bremer Avenue from all directions at that location. The Department of Transportation (DOT) also plans to complete the Bremer Avenue road construction project to the south of the campus during the summer months. More details will be released when they become available from the DOT.
