Broadway’s Next H!T Musical is the only unscripted theatrical awards show. Master improvisers gather made-up, hit-song suggestions from the audience and create a spontaneous evening of music, humor, and laughter. The audience votes for their favorite song and watches as the cast turns it into a hysterical, completely improvised musical — complete with memorable characters, witty dialogue, and plot twists galore. TheaterWeek hailed the show as “brilliant” and The New York Post called the performance “remarkable.”

The time is 1978 in a country beyond our borders where freedom is a dream and independent expression a threat to “the system.” Rock music, defiant and dangerous, slips through the ideological barrier via the airwaves. A young man listening to his shortwave radio, hears of a world unaffected by repression and is lifted out of his bleak surroundings into a very different reality. This journey through time and an homage to an era contains songs from iconic artists Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Santana, David Bowie and Elton John.
