Sean Botkin will be the featured performer at Wartburg College’s final Fall Piano Concert Series performance Sunday, Nov. 22.

Botkin, professor of piano at the University of Northern Iowa, will perform at 2 p.m. in Sandra Rada Orchestra Hall in Bachman Fine Arts Center. A reception will follow in the lobby.

Botkin will perform pieces by Ludwig van Beethoven, Frédéric Chopin, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Sergei Prokofiev.

“Sean Botkin will be a brilliant conclusion to this wonderful dedication series,” said Ted Reuter, Wartburg professor of piano and the concert series coordinator. “He is a world-class pianist and remarkably sensitive interpreter.”

Reuter and his wife, Laurie Braaten-Reuter, started the series to celebrate the rebuilt 1918 Steinway grand piano they donated to the college in memory of Margaret Johnson, Reuter’s aunt and a longtime supporter of the arts.
