Wartburg alumna featured at October ‘Bach’s Lunch’

Kartika Putri, a 2010 Wartburg College graduate, will be the guest artist at Wartburg College’s “Bach’s Lunch” organ series Friday, Oct. 2.
Putri’s performance at 12:30 p.m. in Wartburg Chapel will be preceded by a noon lunch and explanation of the program in Chapel Commons.
At Wartburg, Putri majored in church music and organ performance. Today, she is working toward a doctorate in organ performance at Indiana University. The program will include pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach, Johann Michael Bach and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach.
