Global Engagement
The Global Engagement Team seeks to enhance each student’s Wartburg experience by connecting them to Study Away options, international and multicultural services, inclusive and welcoming programming, and support resources like the free food pantry.
Student Support
The Academic Resource Center offers services in academic planning, career preparation, and tutoring. International students also can take advantage of the free services that peer mentors provide to help students with the transition to college-level academic work.
Alliance, Asian Student Association, Black Student Union, International Club, and the Latino & Hispanic Heritage Society are cultural student organizations on the Wartburg campus with membership open to all students. These organizations foster community by connecting students around common interests.
Wartburg is unique in offering the Friendship Family Program for students who live far away from home. Friendship Families invite students to their homes and gather several times a year for group events with their student partners. It’s a great way to get involved in the community!
Wartburg offers shuttle service at the beginning and end of longer academic breaks during the academic year. The service is provided for nearby airports including the Waterloo Airport (ALO), Eastern Iowa Airport (CID), Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport (MSP), and Chicago O’Hare Airport (ORD).

Inclusive Community
Wartburg recognizes and celebrates diversity among all students, faculty, and staff and provides programs and resources for all to feel welcome and supported.

Study Away
Wartburg’s four-week May Term is an ideal time for off-campus study, both domestically and internationally. Students can also study abroad for a term with an approved program.

Immigration Advising
Wartburg provides immigration advising to ensure that foreign nationals maintain proper immigration status with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and compliance operations.
Global Engagement Team
Learn through experience.

Wartburg is grateful to the Jack and Sarah Salzwedel family
