Wartburg College students come from every corner of the United States and the world to study here, and traveling a long distance can be challenging. Wartburg now provides a shuttle service to transport students to nearby airports and bus stations in metro areas before and after breaks. This will help students catch flights and buses and reduce students’ need to have a vehicle on campus. At Wartburg, we are serious about sustainability in addition to serving students. Providing this shuttle service will help our campus reduce the use of fossil fuels and pollution in transportation. Our goals are to serve students by helping them save money in transportation costs and to reduce frustration for families who make long-distance travel arrangements.

BIKE RENTAL The free Bicycle Rental Program is available through Vogel Library and open to Wartburg students, faculty, and staff. Bicycles can be checked out for 4 hours at a time; helmets provided.

RIDE SHARE Wartburg also offers the Ride Share portal, where students can share travel plans in a safe online forum to save travel costs. Whether you are seeking a ride or a passenger, you can create a post in the Wartburg online Info Center (a passwordprotect site accessible only to the Wartburg community). Once you are on the classifieds page, just select “Rides” to see what is available, or select “create a post” to list your own.
