
Tuition Benefit Programs
Wartburg College is pleased to offer tuition assistance for eligible employees, their spouse, and dependents. As a benefit of being a Wartburg employee, you have access to three tuition waiver programs: Tuition Remission, Tuition Exchange, and Tuition Exchange (ELCA).

Application Deadline
Please start the application process early, approximately 12 months before you plan to use the Tuition Benefit Program.
- Tuition Remission: May 1st prior to fiscal year of use for full-time degree-seeking students.
- Tuition Exchange: Applications must be certified by February 1st to ensure full consideration. If approved by Wartburg, you will then be directed to submit an online application through www.tuitionexchange.org to be approved by your desired import school(s).
- ELCA: May 1 prior to fiscal year of use for full-time degree-seeking students.
- For employees hired after April 1, the deadline is extended to 30 days after notice of employment.
Note: If any of the deadlines are not met, the benefit may be reduced or denied. Further information is available in the Faculty and Staff Handbooks, or from the Human Resources or Financial Aid offices.
