Resident Information
We want you to be well informed about the features of your residence hall and the process for submitting maintenance requests. Each residence hall that follows includes information for residents, which includes information about heating and cooling systems, laundry, kitchens, shelter locations, and waste/recycling.

First-Year Residence Halls
McCoy Living & Learning Center and Clinton Hall
Clinton Hall, which opened in 1957, was renovated in 2016 and is now part of the McCoy Living & Learning Center . This air-conditioned residence hall is primarily for first year students.
Ubuntu Center
The Ubuntu Center consists of three structurally connected buildings (Slife, Vollmer, and Hebron Halls). Slife and Vollmer Halls are air-conditioned, but Hebron Hall is not. Ubuntu Center is primarily for first year students.
Founders Hall
Founders Hall has the character and charm of an older building and the convenience of a newer one.The building includes one-, two-, three-, and four-person rooms.
Second-Fourth Year Residence Halls
Grossmann Hall
& Löhe Hall
Grossmann Hall opened in the fall of 1995 and Löhe Hall in 2004. Floors have single rooms as well as four-, six-, or eight-person suites.
Knights Village
Knights Village units are designed for four or six-person groups. It consists of individual two-story townhouses named after cities where Wartburg has been located at various times in its history.
Afton & Waverly Manors
Afton and Waverly Manors each consist of four separate two-story houses where 24 people live on different floors.
The Residence (North and South Halls)
The Residence provides a living/learning atmosphere for groups of eight. Groups are selected on the basis of a service project partnered with an organization in the Cedar Valley.
