Wartburg College will host The Community Crate: Making Central Iowa Home from 9-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, in the parking lot along 1st Avenue NW and 10th Street NW. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
The Community Crate is a transformed shipping crate used to display a housing exhibit that explores the stories behind eviction trends, affordable housing challenges and home ownership hurdles as well as the inspiring solutions making a difference for central Iowans.
The exhibit is in Waverly as part of the SEED Coalition’s Civic Action Academy, which will be held on the Wartburg campus Nov. 14-15.
