Knight Nation Job Shadowing is a career mentoring experience designed to allow you to connect with and/or shadow a Wartburg alumni in a metropolitan area. This is a great opportunity to learn more about a specific occupation or line of work you might be interested in.
You will have the opportunity to ask questions about the knowledge, skills, talents, and level of education required for the job, as well as learn about the important responsibilities and tasks associated with your mentor’s position. While the purpose of this experience is to gather career-related information and expand your network, it also allows you to build your interviewing skills, become aware of trends in the field, and see workforce technologies in action.
While participating in Orange Connection, you will:
- Discover information about potential majors and minors at Wartburg.
- Gain essential insight into certain occupations and careers.
- Experience what it’s like to work in a large metropolitan area.
- Learn how to successfully balance your personal and professional life.
- Connect with alumni and learn about how they have been impacted by their Wartburg experiences.
