What sparked your interest in your field of study, and how has your perspective on it changed since your first year?
I have always loved music, but wasn’t sure that music educations would be right for me. I was also interested in counseling, and music therapy just seemed like the perfect blend of the two!
What is the one thing you never imagined you would/could do before coming to Wartburg?
I loved my music ensemble tour experiences, especially my international tour. I got to see things I never thought I would get to see. It is amazing to reflect how far music has taken me in college.
What advice do you have for prospective or first-year students?
My advice for future students would be to get involved, but also do not feel like you have to do everything. Find a few things you really love on campus, and be the best member you can be.
