Major: Business Administration
Campus Involvement: Football, National Society of Leadership & Success

Where did you transfer from and why: I transferred from the University of Iowa primarily because I missed playing football and wanted to give that a try.

Why did you choose Wartburg: I chose Wartburg because of the people here and the reputation it has for preparing people for after college, as well as the football program that is amazing to be a part of.

Who at Wartburg made the transfer process easier: The transfer process was made easy by everyone in the Admissions and the Registrar’s offices. MaTina Clark also helped a lot with getting classes crossed over and making sure everything looked right.

Tell us about your internships: I have done two internships. The first one was at The Accel Group, and it was based on learning about the insurance industry and getting an understanding of the operations and workflows involved. The second one I did was with Cottingham & Butler. This was also in the Insurance industry as an insurance marketer for transportation.

How did Wartburg prepare you for those experiences: Wartburg prepared me for these experiences by getting me connected with the companies and preparing me for the interviews I had with them.

What are your plans after graduation: I will be going back to Cottingham & Butler. Having a full-time offer before starting my senior year has helped a lot to relieve some stress and the pressure of searching for a job. This has allowed me to take in my final year here and be able to enjoy it fully.

What is something you are most excited for this year: This year I am most excited for playing football with some of my best friends one last time and continuing to build those friendships that will last forever.

What has been your favorite Wartburg experience: My favorite experience so far at Wartburg is either playing in the snow playoff football game last year or going to really any event that is on campus.
