
How to Apply
Application Requirements for First-Year International Students
Follow these steps to apply to Wartburg College:
- Complete and submit the Wartburg Application or The Common App.
- Submit transcripts from your secondary school. Please include national exam scores (if applicable).
- Submit ONE test score. This can be TOEFL, IELTS, EIKEN, PTE Academic, ACT, SAT, or Duolingo. View test score requirements.
- Financial Documents: Please complete the International Student Application for Financial Aid form (ISAFA) or CSS Profile (Wartburg Code 6926).

If you are admitted to Wartburg College, you will need to complete a scholarship interview and provide proof of financial support before the college can issue an I-20. You may also be asked to provide letters of recommendation and/or a personal statement.

Important Application Dates for Fall 2027

| November 15 | First Priority International Application Deadline. Submit your application by this date and automatically receive an additional $500 per year in scholarship assistance. Students who also submit the required documents to complete their application file and who demonstrate the ability to pay within our required range from family or another financial sponsor for educational costs will be invited to participate in an interview after application review. Completing this interview will result in an additional $500 per year in scholarship support. |
| January 15 | Second Priority International Application Deadline. Submit your application by this date and automatically receive an additional $500 per year in scholarship assistance. Students who submit a completed application by this date and who demonstrate the ability to pay within our required range from family or another financial sponsor for educational costs will be invited to participate in an interview after application review. As funds in our scholarship budget allow, completing this interview may result in an additional $500 per year in scholarship support. |
