Knight’s Experience

Wartburg College is committed to ensuring every student has access to experiential learning opportunities. The Knight’s Experience fund aims to increase the attainability of these programs by providing each continuously enrolled, full-time student a one-time disbursement of up to $1,500 that can be used in their second, third, or fourth year of study at Wartburg.

This fund may be utilized to support an experience or program of the student’s choosing. Qualifying programs include internshipsstudy awayresearch projectsservice trips, and more. These opportunities can provide once-in-a-lifetime experiences as well as invaluable knowledge that may be beneficial in future careers and graduate school.

Wartburg College is grateful to the Jack and Sarah Salzwedel family for funding Wartburg Commitment scholarships and the Knight’s Experience program for the 2026-27 academic year.
