The Wartburg-Waverly Sports & Wellness Center is offering veterans a free day pass Tuesday, Nov. 11, in honor of Veterans Day.
The W is open 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., with the fitness center available all day. Other opportunities include:
- Walking track, 5:30 a.m.-3 p.m. and 6-10 p.m.
- Lap swim and vortex pool, 5:45-7:45 a.m.
- Lap swim and vortex pool, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Open swim, 4-8 p.m.
- Climbing wall, 5-8 p.m.
The free-admission offer applies to all U.S. veterans and retired and active military personnel who present their military ID at the Welcome Desk.
