Education
Dr. Theresa Moore holds a PhD in Education from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. She is a Qualified Administrator for the Intercultural Development Inventory and a Quality Matters Credentialed professional.
Professional Experience
Theresa has served in faculty development, leadership education, and training and development roles across higher education and nonprofit organizations. Her experience includes serving as Assistant Director of the Institute for Leadership Education at Wartburg College, faculty and leadership development roles at Kirkwood Community College and Viterbo University, and training and development work with Goodwill Industries.

Beyond the Classroom
Theresa named her dog “Dodger” after her beloved LA Dodgers. Her favorite book is I Know This Much Is True by Wally Lamb, and she appreciates the reminder that “we don’t see things as they are; we see them as we are.”
What She Enjoys Most About Working with Graduate Students
Theresa enjoys teaching students who are passionate about growing as leaders and believes learning is most powerful when it is reciprocal.
