Jack R. Mueller,77, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday morning, January 7, 2025, in Mason City, Iowa.
Jack was born May 6, 1947, in New Hampton, Iowa, the only son of Willis and Doris (Liebenstein) Mueller. He grew up in Fredericksburg, attending Fredericksburg High School and graduating in 1965. He went on to obtain his Bachelor of Science degree from Wartburg College and finished his education at Mayo Clinic School of Physical Therapy. Jack served many communities as a Physical Therapist, eventually retiring from MercyOne North Iowa in Mason City.
In 1974, Jack married Marilyn Eisenhauer, and the couple was blessed with three children: Molly, Wade and Amanda. Jack and Marilyn shared over 50 years of a life built on love, faith and family. Jack had a passion for the outdoors, spending his time riding and caring for his horses as well as hunting with his son and grandsons. He was an avid reader and enjoyed watching his favorite tv shows. Every morning, he and Marilyn cherished their devotional time together, a testament to Jack’s unwavering faith. Known for his kind, gentle and honest nature, Jack also had a quiet strength and independence that his family admired. Everyone enjoyed his sense of humor and quick wit. Jack’s greatest joy came from his family, especially his grandchildren, who were the light of his life. Whether attending their events or simply spending time together, Jack’s love for them – and for all of his family – was boundless and deeply felt. He will be greatly missed.
