Why did you choose Wartburg: I chose Wartburg because of the size of the school, the community, and the class sizes.
Why did you enlist in the National Guard: I joined the military for a sense of community and to help prepare myself for the future, mentally and physically.
How you balance your school commitments with your guard commitments: I am able to balance school work with military duties because I set aside time to get my classwork done, and my professors are very understanding when I have to miss class. With volleyball, the most important things are planning ahead and communication.
What are your plans after Wartburg: I would like to find a job as a mechanical engineer in the Twin Cities area. I am also planning to get 20 years in the service so I can give my children the same opportunities I have.
