Maya Weatherall will be the sixth speaker in the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) professional speaker series Tuesday, March 24, at 6:30 p.m., in Whitehouse Business Center 214.
During the free event, Weatherall will share how her passion for filmmaking and storytelling unexpectedly led to a career in marketing, media and communication.
Weatherall serves as the marketing manager at Independent Pharmacy Cooperative, leading social media strategy, storytelling and brand engagement, while also pursuing creative projects as a content creator and writer.
A 2018 graduate of Wartburg College, she immersed herself in campus life through a variety of leadership, mentorship and community engagement programs. Her involvement in multiple initiatives helped strengthen her skills in communication, relationship building and creative problem solving.
Wartburg’s PRSSA chapter has partnered with Wartburg graduates and area professionals who are leaders in their field for their 2025-2026 Professional Speaker Presentation Series.
