Four Wartburg College students, Keziah Ambundo, Chris Guerrero, Caleb Kammerer and Ali Parkhurst, recently attended the 2025 Fast Forward Conference at the University of Northern Iowa.
During the conference, which connects students with industry professionals, the students heard from professionals in media, cinematography, marketing and other fields. They also were given time to network with the speakers and other students.
Two of the Fast Forward Conference speakers were Wartburg alumnae. Michelle Van Dorn, a 1998 graduate, spoke about her path that led her to Martin Bros. as a digital and communication strategist. Hannah Dutcher, a 2024 graduate, shared how she found her way to work as a digital communications specialist at UNI.
The Fast Forward Conference is sponsored by the Iowa Broadcasters Association and the IBA Foundation.
