About Me: I started working in the admissions office as a college student and ended up finding a career in higher education! I have a passion for baking, baseball, and football. You will find me cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs when I’m not at a Wartburg game, and trying out new cookie recipes for my coworkers whenever I have time. As a student at Wartburg, I cheered four seasons for the Knights, and now I have been the head cheer coach for over twenty years. My family, Chris ’04, the head football coach at Wartburg, and our two kids love everything Waverly and the college have to offer. We are on a mission to check off national parks and Major League Ballparks as a family.
What I Enjoy Most About Wartburg: I love the sense of community people feel at Wartburg. Whether you are a current student, a graduate, faculty or staff, you always know you have a place here. One of the best ways to experience this is on homecoming weekend when so many people travel back to campus to the place that’s meant so much to them!
