Fun Fact About Me: I played softball at Wartburg College for 4 years. I played centerfield all 4 years while I was on campus and enjoyed every minute of it. Now I am the Outfield Coach for the Wartburg Softball Team. In my spare time I love to run and work out. I have completed 3-½ marathons, one Tough Mudder and a few 5Ks. I put my Fitness Management Degree to use as a Group Fitness instructor at The W.

Inspirational Quotes: “Happiness depends on ourselves.” – Aristotle “The best way to predict the future is to invent it” – Alan Kay “Good is the enemy of Great” – Jim Collins

Favorite Book: Good to Great- Jim Collins. And any book that my children have and want me to read.

Hobbies/Interests: Taking weekend trips to my parents’ cabin on the Mississippi River, playing sports (especially softball), shopping, and any activity outside, watching Wartburg Wrestling and any fast pitch softball competitions. Above all, I value the time with my family, friends, my husband Chris, my son Jace and my daughter Macy.

What do you enjoy most about Wartburg: I would definitely say the people: students, the students’ families, the staff, and the faculty. Their enthusiasm and energy make it easy to catch the BE ORANGE attitude. Once you are here you have made your place. I love that Wartburg College continues to grow while continuing to challenge itself to be the best. If you want a college that will challenge you, teach you and embrace you, Wartburg is the college for you. It truly is life-changing.
